National Job Shadow Initiative

LeisureWorld participated in this year’s National Job Shadow Initiative Day held 23rd April. The initiative was designed to bring together people with disabilities and local employers in the spirit of collaboration to enable job seekers to explore the world of work.
The initiative gives people with disabilities the unique opportunity to shadow a workplace mentor as he or she goes through their normal day. Working with First Employment Services, we were thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity at both Churchfield and Bishopstown.
