Leisureworld Supports Cork City Lord Mayor & Bord Gais CEO

LeisurWorld Cork offered to train two of Cork's leading men as they take up the Challenge to run in the 2010 Cork City Marathon - Lord Mayor Cllr Dara Murphy & Bord Gais Chief Executive Officer Mr JOhn Mullins a, as they prepare to run in the relay event of the marathon .

This year at the post marathon reception , Bord Gais CEO John Mullins challenged the Lord Mayor to race against him over the first leg of the 2010 Cork City Marathon in return for the continued sponsorship of the Bord Gais Energuy Cork City Marathon 2010 .

LeisureWorld have come on board to prepare the two competitors , with The Lord Mayor training out of LeisureWorld Churchfield and John Mullins training out of LeisureWorld Bishopstown. With now only 40weeks left to the 2010 Marathon its time for everyone to start their training !!

The public will be able to follwo the training diary of both runners thtough the LeisureWorld website blogs (www.Leisureworldcork.com) and they will also be keeping everyone up to date through Twitter.

The Bord Gáis Energy Cork City Marathon will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 7th June 2010 and is supported by Cork City Council who are committed to growing the event to become one of the major events in the Irish sporting calendar.
