>LeisureWorld awarded with White Flag Award 2009 for Churchfield & Bishopstown Sites. > >LeisureWorld Cork has been awarded the 2009/2010 White Flag Award at a Gala Dinner in Dublin held on Friday 23rd October 2009. >The White Flag 'Quality' Award recognises high standards of excellence in health and leisure facilities and is endorsed by Fáilte Ireland and the Irish Hotels Federation.
Speaking after receiving the awards, Christine Moloney of LeisureWorld believes that “these awards validate the standards expected in health facilities across the entire region of Ireland. This is an achievement for the people who are LeisureWorld, the staff, and I am very proud of the teams during 2009”
The 2009 White Flag Awards, the only comprehensive Quality Award for Leisure Facilities in Ireland, were presented by RTE’s Michael Lyster and The White Flag Jury comprises of the following Organisations:

>The White Flag Award, which is now in its ninth year, is designed for sports halls, fitness studios, health suites, spas, gyms, and swimming pools and was developed by ILAM - Leading Leisure in Ireland for sports, fitness, aquatic facilities, outdoor, spas & wellness.
