LeisureWorld Churchfield promotes family swimming with family friendly swim rate
LeisureWorld Churchfield is taking steps to encourage families to exercise and to have fun together by introducing a €50 weekend pass for 2 adults and 2 children during the months of January and February.
“We decided that the most practical way to encourage families to choose exercise as a means of having fun together was to offer a family membership rate for all day Saturday and Sunday when they really want to swim,” explained Louise O’Sullivan, Facility Manager, LeisureWorld Cork.
“Swimming is a fantastic way to keep children occupied and to enjoy quality time as a family. It allows children to burn off energy and to improve their swimming skills while also providing an opportunity for parents who don’t exercise that regularly to improve their fitness,” Louise continued.
Families visiting LeisureWorld Churchfield can now enjoy it’s swimming facilities for €50 which allows 2 adults and up to 3 children to use the pool facilities for one month all day Saturday and Sunday.
LeisureWorld Churchfield is also reminding parents that they are now taking enrolments for the next course of its popular Swimming Lessons.
“The classes are suitable for children of all ages and all abilities. Each child is assessed at the beginning of the course and is put into a class that reflects their ability rather than their age so that they are learning alongside children of the same standard. We feel this is the best way to teach children as it allows them the opportunity to progress at their own pace”, explained Louise.
LeisureWorld’s experienced instructors guide each child through the ten week programme which covers the basics of swimming and helps improve their skills through a programme of gradual progression and motivation.
