LeisureWorld Churchfield Encourages Water Safety with Water Safety Awreness Week May 24th – 28th 2010
NEW INITIATIVE WILL ENCOURAGE SAFE SUMMER SWIMMMING NATIONWIDE
National Water Safety Awareness Week takes place from May 26th to June 2nd 2010 and in the run-up to the busy June Bank Holiday weekend people need to be aware that taking responsibility for being safe around water will help reduce drownings during the summer season ahead.
LeisureWorld Churchfield have put together a series of events to help educate bioth children and adults to improve their knowledge of water safety best practices. Children especially need advice on how best to stay safe in and around water especially during the warm weather that is being promised in Ireland this summer.
This Water safety awareness week is being run on a national basis in conjuction with the Irish Water Safety.
“I encourage people to improve their knowledge of water safety best practices by logging onto Irish Water Safety’s website www.iws.ie,” said Christine Moloney CEO of LeisureWorld. “Information sessions and awareness programs contain information that is essential to help avoid child and adult drownings.”
